I just sent in my 2.5 year old pro plus and they're exchanged it but the brand new one still has the issue. I didn't notice shocks until recently even with the old one. I'm not sure what I want to do headset wise now.

Any Telex fans? Pros/cons of various models? Currently using non-ANR Airman on the gup but thinking of switching to an ANR model. I prefer the on-the-ear design.

The 35 has a wired connector.

How can you have the A-20 since 2004 when they were released in 2010?

Oops.... oh well its still a Bose... has the same noise cancelling features, and non-Blue Tooth. I failed to mention Bose through in the headset carrying case at no charge too. Anyway... the point of the post is that Bose more than stands by their product, repair, and customer service.

Great write up. One point though, the DC Pro X will mute music if receiving radio or intercom transmissions. Just have to make sure that function is on:

I didn’t like that the Pro X reverted every time it was powered on.

Does anyone know if the Pro X uses ships power rather than batteries if you get the Airbus plug version? I read that the A20 and Pro Flight do.

If anyone here is interested in a headset if your aircraft doesn’t have a crew intercom, the David Clark Pro-S single side headset has worked great for me for about a year now. It’s basically a single-sided Pro-X. Although It doesn’t have noise canceling or Bluetooth. However, the sound quality is fantastic and it’s very comfortable. It also reduces a lot of noise on whichever ear you wear it on. It was only about 300 bucks, so it’s pretty worth it to me.

The pair I own and the one sold on Amazon does not. https://www.amazon.com/Bose-QuietCom...gateway&sr=8-3 They do include a wire but it is for charging only.
