I think it’s pretty comfortable. Sure, after a long day it feels nice to take the headset off, but I feel like that’s the case with all over-ear headsets.

UPDATE: I have been using the Bose A20's for two trips now and so far I really like them. Wind noise on the 737 is very loud but once I put these things on I feel like I'm flying a different jet. I've used them on a couple of long days (7+ hours of flying) and by the end of the day I didn't have any comfort issues. They are a little heavy but I'm coming off of 6 years of using the DC Pro's so that's to be expected. The weight, however, is distributed well and doesn't feel burdensome.

The A20's come with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cord so you can use the headset to watch a movie while deadheading. I tried this yesterday and it worked great. I could hardly hear a peep from the cabin and the clarity of the movie was far better than using apple ear buds.

The only knock against this headset is how much room it takes up in my flight bag. Everything still fits, it's just a bit tighter now.
