The B52 crew that did a low approach over Spokane instead of the AFB today for their air show (and got called out on guard by Spokane tower).

Yet still a significant improvement from the airshow put on when they shutdown the 92nd Bomb Wing. There were, IIRC either three or four O-6s aboard and the PF was the Chief of Stan Eval.

Not true... best flying gig going as far as I’m concerned.

The PF was well known for aggressive flying and not in a good way. The PF's CO was on board specifically to provide adult supervision for exactly that reason. Apparently he wasn't quick enough. Lots of lessons learned. Families of the crew were watching.

I guess the adult supervision was ineffectual. No lessons regarding stupidity, arrogance, and poor airmanship to be learned from this. Chain of command screwed the pooch with this a$$ of the base.
