One of my oldest buddies just called and told me that he just got hired by Alaska Airlines. The HR department slipped up and let a good guy through. He was told they they expect to hire 400 over then next 5 years. Man I hope they have room for one more old fat guy like me.

400 new-hires will barely cover the retirements. No where near what the VP of Flight Ops was trying to make us believe with their 2010 Plan.
