Trade War Hurts Airlines
The IATA expects airline profits to come in at $28 billion in 2019, a drop from the previously forecast 2019 profits of $35.5 billion dollars.
"It has significantly impacted our outlook, and it's clear that this stop in the evolution in international trade comes directly from trade wars and protectionist measures,"

All wars are expensive. But somerimes survival requires it.
Thankfully this war only involves costing green....and not red.

Yeah, taking the long view it's probably a good thing for the country. At some point we had to stand up.

China has been a bad actor for quite some time.
Just like a bully, someone has to call them on it it or it will continue forever. Not a painless solution, but it has to be done sooner or later.

Trade wars may hurt airlines but getting screwed for decades by unfair trade deals have been destroying our economy, industries and country. We need to unf@ck ourselves from China as much as possible or altogether as they are the real enemy.
