I’d be surprised as I’ve mentioned before if airlines with significant NEO orders don’t follow through with XLRs. It’s just a logical move at this point with the Boeing NMA still up in the air(pardon the pun). With AA & F9 having ordered, DL, B6 & NK are good potential customers.

XLR will be a market changer in the next 5-10 years. It will allow the LCCs to compete more directly on some of the longer/thinner routes that the legacies currently service. Probably not a threat so much to DA and UA, but AA who seems to have doubled down on catering to the “budget savvy traveler” could face competition.
