That article reads right out of the play book for SCARE TACTICS. Guys and Gal, we are smarter than this. 49% does not mean total control nor does it mean loss of jobs. I think open-skies means more jobs, more carriers to meet the current flying demands and it also means that the "Legacies" gotta get their heads out of the sand. Pilots(labor)/Mgmt need to get on the same page to compete with these new entrants.

There is a pilot shortage in Europe, Asia and Africa. They are all pulling pilots from the US. There ARE NO excess pilots ANYWHERE in the world to come in and take US jobs. We will be able to export more and more pilots, while producing less and less, which means the hiring TSUNAMI is upon us.
