The other day I had an old lady staring at me. Like when I was up at the gate, dead set eyes on me the entire time. When she was boarding, same thing. Now I’m far from Brad Pitt, or Sean Connery is probably more her speed at her age.

Like either ask me if I’m too young to fly this thing, or set me up with your granddaughter, but please stop staring

Mom of the freaking year right there!
Wife and I are both pilots, and both FA and service industry before. Have yet to leave an aircraft or restaurant without the wait staff or FAs say: "you have great kids", didn't come naturally tho!

Ha one of the best I ever heard was on a CRJ when the pax says to the captain “man this plane is small.” The captain in his Dutch accent winks and says “don’t call a guys thing small...” the pax response....”it’s not the size of the plane it’s how ya fly it!!”

I also remember flying with one FA who was being aggressively hit on by a passenger. She was handling it like a champ. As the pax deplanes, right in front of me, he says to her (both were Afro American) «I’m in the mood for something hot and black and you’ve already served me coffee so what’s up?!” She smiled and waved bye while I had to spend a few minutes searching for my jaws whereabouts on the floor.

Yesterday I listened to two passengers complaining about the airport PA announcements also being in Spanish. One wondered aloud “why these announcements gotta be in Mexican?”. I was completely unaware that “Mexican” was a language. 🙄

I thought it was “old lady’s cow”, but that wouldn’t make sense with the new restrictions on emotional support animals.

Beats the heck out of the time a mom screamed at me because I had the audacity to turn around and politely ask if she could have her child stop kicking my seat, see as how it been going on for an hour now, with absolutely no attempt from mom to stop the behavior.

Then, to top it off, since I am the bad guy now, the FA makes ME move!

I was a rev pax and had paid full fare. Sheesh!
