Jumpseater Bag Fees on Spirit & Frontier???

Hi Folks,

Former 15 yrs F/A with UAL, Now CFI building up to my required 1500 hrs. When pilots jumpseat on Frontier and/or Spirit, do they have to pay the bag fees? I know we never charged them fees to come on our aircraft with bags, even the rare times we had to gate check them. But I been out of the majors for awhile while getting my ratings.

I am asking as I'd commute from MCO & they fly frequently out of there.

Unlikely that any airline would do that, they'd suffer schedule reliability problems when THEIR pilots couldn't make it to work.

There is a small seatbelt buckle fee that’s not too bad, the pressurization fee is the one that gets you.

I appreciated the ride, and future rides, but have been charged for a cup of coffee while jumpseating (got an open cabin seat) On Frontier. I was a bit surprised. And when I swiped my card there were selections to leave a tip. Was shocked, actually.
