Car shipping

I tend to agree with you but if it's a classic or a toy, mileage and reliability can be factors in shipping over driving. I've got a 63 Chevy II with 4.10 gears. A trip to the next town over for ice cream is a blast. A trip across the country would be a nightmare.

I used ‘intercity lines’ this past November, for a car I bought on an auction website. Connecticut to Dallas for 1600, enclosed. Extremely impressed with them.
I was watching ‘Chasing Classic Cars’ and Wayne always uses them, so I thought - I’ll get a quote (I’m sure it will be the most expensive). It was actually in the middle. What I liked about Intercity Lines was you deal directly with them, not a broker so you know you are getting on one of their trailers, and drivers. My car was the cheapest on that truck probably by an order of 10-20!
