Default The US economy has come to a standstill

The US economy has come to a standstill, satellite imagery shows

Economists at the biggest U.S. banks are now expecting the country’s growth domestic product (GDP) to contract sharply in the second-quarter, but there are a wide range of outcomes as they struggle to make estimates from so little data. JP Morgan expects a 14% drop, Goldman expects a 24% drop and Morgan Stanley expects a 30% drop.

Well......no kidding. The entire country has been told to lock yourself inside with no end date........

I’m sorry but I think it’s time to keep the older and more vulnerable inside and lets slowly get back to life please.......

You heartless SOB. You need to stop using reason and logic and feel a little more. Sarcasm obviously. This is exactly what's going to happen when the Bob's of the world stop getting a paycheck. Most people can't stay home forever and construction worker's, cabbies, restaurant workers, etc. can't work from home. My guess is within 2-3 weeks people say f it and start getting at it again. The difference between us and China is the government controls all the money anyway. So they have plenty to pay people to sit at home for longer periods. Or, they'll just print more. I've been wrong before....only time will tell. On a side note. 228,000,000 people got malaria this year. 420,000 died. 5684 teens ages 16-19 died in cars. Why aren't we raising the driving age?

Well you're probably feeling this way because you're a captive in a house of women/girls. It's a never-ending princess party.

lol true. And I’m one of the fortunate ones who got the Rona and am making a solid recovery with nothing more than a loss in taste/smell so it’s easier for me to say “let’s get back to normal” .....Definitely keeping an eye out on family though. Seems to be no big deal for some and life ending for others........

Could be a new tinder selling point. “I’ve already had the Rona and I can’t taste or smell anything.

I have friends in the health care industry (nurses, PA's, etc) who are saying the exact same thing.

It’s not just old people getting extremely sick, they’re just the most likely to die. Once we run out of vents and/or people to run them, the death rate will go up dramatically
