NY Governor recently ordered 750K doses of Hydrochloroquine and 70k of Chloroquine. Trial testing starts tomorrow on patients. Guess we will find out by Monday March 30th. Some patients in Europe were cured after 6 days. Hopefully some promising results.

I think I also read something about large doses of Vitamin C? Somewhere in the 10-20k mg range.

I'm sure every supplement/snake oil salesman out there is paying some social media influencer to hawk their crap as the COVID cure. I'd wait for an assessment from a reputable source (ie not facebook).

There’s a school of thought that claims the vitamin c in large doses can cure a myriad of ailments. Vitamin c supports the immune system so therefore mass amounts of vitamin c should make the immune system super strong. Except there’s many other docs out there that tell us that the body can only absorb so much vitamin c in a day and the rest is excreted out of the body in one form or another. It can’t be stored up for future use. Taking more than what your body can absorb would therefore not do any good.

It's clear that a LACK of vitamin C is bad (ie scurvy). But like you said, too much just gets flushed so probably has no benefit.

What could possibly go wrong with sorceries and medication?

The Chinese tried a treatment that injected 30g (30,000mg) of vitamin C a day into Coronavirus patients. Nothing really came of it.

If it were that easy, we wouldn't be in this mess. IMO.
