VA Issues Stay-at-Home Order til June 10th

April 30th wasn’t enough to start? Have to make it more drastic and gloomy than the recent National extension? Politics at its best.

People won't remain locked down for another 2 1/2 months. Even another 2 1/2 weeks is pushing it. Civil disobedience will spread quickly and there won't be any way to compel compliance.

They’re not even remaining under lock down now. People will realize how serious this is when friends and family start to get it. Of course that just delays the recovery for everyone. They’re stacking bodies in NY in refrigerated trucks. |
In China, the government had paper strips on home entrances to detect non compliance. Totalitarian society “beat” it in 3 months. In a free society is anyone’s guess.

Suuuuurrrreee they did. Wonderful thing about that commie country is they also control the media, the narrative, and all propaganda. Wish we knew the actual death toll and knew the whole story.
either case, bad news. 1- they never beat it. Sucks for us. 2-they beat it under police state conditions. Sucks for us. |

As the NYC statistics show, this is a virus that almost exclusively kills sick people: https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/down...ary-deaths.pdf Those with underlying conditions can sit at home in isolation and protect themselves. The rest of us should be working. The potential for economic depression and all the problems that come with it is simply not worth the risk. Repressing everyone equally is an absurdity with a virus that is so specific in who it impacts. |

80% of people won’t even know they have been infected. And the death rate in New York has been lower than forecast, much less than an exponential climb. New York City and New York State have kept good statistics, they are available online.
