Hi!

No shortage? Then why would a regional hire a guy without interviewing him, and they knew didn't have a commercial license yet? When I applied to the regionals the first time, I had my ATP-MEL, and I got a letter saying I didn't meet the minimums.

Why would an intn't airline offer a guy 777 captain off the street when they knew the guy had no widebody and no oceanic experience? Previously, this airline only hired capts off the street that were type-rated and had experience.

There is always a shortage of people who will work for free and take a ration of abuse at the workplace. Right now there is a shortage of workers to pick apples.

But I wouldn't stand below and hold the ladder and tell the guy picking the apples what a crap job he has and he'll never get anywhere doing it. Especially if all I did was hold the ladder and didn't get the chance climb up to top where the apples were. Maybe the view is better up there.

Hi!

So a job flying a 777 paying $160K, with housing, schooling, and transportation provided is a crap job?
