Bottom Line, It’s the Japanese discipline, culture and relentless pursuit of perfection. It’s not brain surgery to to see why it’s a bonus for many operators to fly their messes (mechanical) into Japan and they fix them up and send them on their way.

Flying out of Narita, Captain was looking forward to his wrapped “cookie” in the lunch tray. Meanwhile both FO’s broke into catering and ate some of their lunches ahead of the Captain. One FO liked the cookie so much he ate the last one out of the Captain’s lunch. At cruise Captain went back to eat his lunch and his cookie! He immediately questioned each FO if they ate his cookie. 1st FO said he had only one. 2nd FO stated “maybe they forgot to add the cookie in your lunch!”

Captain without delay “You ate my F’n Cookie, the Japanese never forget anything you liar!” “Had we been anywhere else I might have believed you...”

The ones we were issued are a leather type. Some say they are similar to a golfing glove. I don't golf so don't really know. The ones you see the taxi drivers wearing are fabric.

and they know the difference between their, there and they're. And that could've, instead of could of, is the proper contraction for could have .
They set the brake before going on a break after the plane breaks.
I'd rather wear gloves then eat in a clean cockpit, than not where gloves then eat in a dirty cockpit

Are you going "on holiday," or "to hospital?"

yeah.....and we also have those types of differences right here in America. I wasn’t raised in the Midwest, so I think it’s weird when people say they are going to drink a pop. That doesn’t mean it’s incorrect.

I like eating crisps as I drive my lorrie. But chips are too greasy. I’ll save them for the lift.

Plus I’ll gain 2 stone if eat them.
