If you receive an offer to return to work and turn it down, you are not eligible for unemployment. There are very specific situations where you could do this, but the scope is narrow.

As airline pilots with our payroll being directly funded by the government, we are pretty much the highest paid welfare recipients in this country. Scoffing at their $600 a week while we get paid exponentially more to also sit at home not working is a little funny.
