Most have no clue how to balance a checkbook, let alone save. As restrictions ease, everything will return. The yields are gonna be bad because it’ll take low fares to lure people back, but they’ll be back and much sooner than summer 2021.

By many accounts, summer bookings still look decent, the question is will the places be open? I think they will. I know it’s in the certain political party’s interest to destroy the economy in the election year to have a better chance to unseat the incumbent, but let’s not go down that path.

2021 might as well be 2051... the gauge is damn near impossible as too far out given the events. And planning for staffing in 2021.... again, out of many models, the planners seem to have chose the same one that said millions will die in this country from Covid ie the absolute worst case scenario.
I know several MILLION boomers who are in credit card debt. You ****tards created the problem in the first place and then never told your children it was NOT ok to go into a life time of debt for a toothbrush you bought at 19% interest. However, according to your logic, the millennials will save the world by spending, spending, spending, NOT unlike the inept boomer politicians at every level of government who think we can solve this situation by spending, spending, spending. Damn, it seems our generations have more in common than I thought. We’re both equally ****ing stupid and love blaming other people for our problems.

All airlines were making huge profits at 100% TSA levels from last year....could probably break even at 80%. Mostly domestic carriers could probably break even at 60% of last year.
They arrested a healthy individual simply enjoying beach time at night, far away from other people, and throw him in prison where his chances of contracting Covid19 are far higher than what he was doing. Not to mention, real criminals are being let out of prison so they don't contract the virus. Go figure

When in reality the answer is somewhere else and is totally unpredictable.

The virus may be here.....then again we may get a vaccine. But airline numbers picking up may overtime become less correlated to the virus being around as people move to normalise their lives independent of its prevalence.
What exactly did I say that you are referring to as speculation? That airlines are projecting pilot numbers needed for mid 2021? Or that a vaccine is 12 months or longer away? If it's the vaccine thing, there's historical context and precedence that experts are using to make those statements.

The common sense of this State has been shocking.. The number of violent crimes has gone up in Oahu.. Bank robberies, assaults etc. And the ones getting captured are the criminals they let out.

Then there are the apparent high school dropouts who haven't grasped the fact that Hawaii is part of the USA.

Not just dropouts. A NetJets Pilot formerly from Alaska was going thru TSA screening not in uniform so can't use company ID (this was before we had KCM). He still had an Alaska Driver's License so he hands that to the screener. The screener looks at it, thinks for a few seconds and then hands it back saying "I'm sorry sir but I'll need to see your Alaska Passport"

You must be one of those “elder” millennials then. I fall into this category as well. The kind that shames younger millennials because they never listened to punk Red Hot Chili Peppers or had to deal with getting kicked off the internet when your mom picked up the phone while you were digitally fingerbanging your girlfriend on AOL instant messenger. Or know the joy of playing blockdude on a TI-86. Damn kids these days with their Tinder. **** me I AM BORED!!

My favorite is " you're required to do this to keep my elders safe.." Well lemme tell ya what, when it comes down to it my families economic well being, and my kids, trump your elders.

And looking at one of my kids head out of the house, with her required mask. I wanna f-ing kill someone.. It ****es me off to no end they have to deal with this.
