Default Protecting Contracts in Bankruptcies

Just to raise awareness, there is a bill in both bodies of congress that would prevent destruction of our contracts during bankruptcy. Please support it by emailing your members of congress directly or using this link from ALPA (don't need to be a member of ALPA to use it).

Submitted...but edited to include other airline unions facing the same issue. It's not just an ALPA thing...

Amen. And might I add people who haven’t read Flying the Line Vols. 1&2 need to do so if you find yourself doing nothing. Great history as to how we got here, collectively.

It would appear to my nonexpert perusal that the party most able to afford the highest priced lawyer is going to win nine times out of ten when it comes to the integrity of a CBA in bankruptcy court:
