But if Allegiant changes their business model to hub and spoke, acquires terminals in JFK, IAD, MIA, ORD, DFW, DEN, LAX, SFO, SEA and takes over the domestic market you can come back and say I told you so about that too.

That was weak at best. Who said anything about hub and spoke? You said only legacy serves small towns, and youre wrong.

Legacy serves small towns with multiple daily frequency and connections to big towns, other small towns, and overseas. There's a difference between 4-5 daily departure options to a hub where you can connect vs. twice a week direct to Orlando.

Allegiant has a niche. It is a good niche but inherently limited. To expand significantly, they'd need to adopt a SWA model or a hub-n-spoke model. They'd better off going hub-n-spoke then sticking their nose in the SWA gorilla's cave.

But Allegiant doesn’t connect very many of those small towns. The legacies, with their hub and spoke systems can take you from Missoula MT to Paris on the same PNR (ticket).

Allegiant is great at doing what they do but connecting people around the country or around the world is not it.
