"Prepare for the New World Order"

I have known the virus was coming for ten years. You won't be concerned about furlough when whats coming down the pipe is going to make the holocaust look like childs play.

Care to expand upon that? Genuinely curious.

I'm a pessimist, but based on past experience(s), I'm going with a 'glass half full' on this one. A pervasive doom and gloom outlook is to be expected in times this; feels like the end of the world, given the 24/7 bombardment of panic porn from every conceivable direction.

Like a market selloff, panic dumping and hysteria are generally followed by recovery, often sudden, which I'm quite confident will be the case here too. 1-2 years full recovery for domestic travel, 2-3 for international.

I'm old enough to have seen my share of these cyclical downturns, always shocked by the inevitable return. Election will soon be over, the virus will run its course, the odds of a vaccine are high, government bailouts will continue, businesses and travel will return, and the sun will rise.

Prediction: TSA checkpoint numbers will crack 1M by this holiday season. 2M by summer.

No Crystal ball, just been here before.

Eyore

As good a wag as any. This too shall pass is the only TRUTH. How bad, how deep, how long is up for debate. But it WILL pass.
