Anyone? I'm guessing not even though I heard they were looking to start passenger operations by end of Q1 2021.

Like anything in the airline industry, I'll believe it when I see airplanes, tickets, passengers and everything else, until then it's just someone's idea.

JetBlue started with $300 million in financing in 1999. VX started with $600 million in financing in 2007. If these guys launch with anything less than $1 billion, I'd stay away. They don't even know how to make a webpage.

The airline has been in the works for 2 years now. We are getting closer to an AOC hopefully by the beginning of the year. Multiple pilots have been interviewed and hired already. Do some research on Zapways and it will give you an idea of how they’ll be able to compete in this market. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

What in particular about a software suite and data management company gives this startup such an edge??

They figure out a way to synthesize pax out of thin air in a timely manner?

Remember Day Jet? It was a cool idea. Through advanced computing they were going to provide on demand air travel with an infinitely flexible network. Software guys dumped a lot of money into that place and it completely flopped. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/DayJet

Their biggest problem was basing their business on a plane with promised price and capabilities that never materialized. Their timing was also bad luck, Fall of 2007.
