Default Time to buy my first pen

I’ve been stealing hotel pens for decades. Think it’s time to have my own pen that isn’t covered in germs and covid.

Any pen lovers out there? Not looking to spend $800 on a Montblanc. Needs to be small and able to write in the logbook well with triple pages.

Hard to beat the quality and value of a good Cross pen. They are well balanced, have some weight, and look sharp.
Personally, I worry too much about losing them, so I use Zebra F-301s day-to-day and love them.

You will lose any nice pen. But the next pilot thanks you for the nice new pen.

Speak for yourself.
I know plenty of guys who have been using the same pen for 10-20 years.

I had a student give me a MontBlanc decades ago. I still carry it as a fashion piece. It's like a Rolex in that sometimes a cheap pen at Target will write better (and a cheap digital Timex will keep better time.)

Go with a cheap pen from Target unless you want to look pretentious -- like me. They come on packets now.

Hands down, Fisher Space pen, writes at any angle, even works on wet women and latrine walls.
