It has nothing to do with “informing people in the pipeline.” Nobody in flight school is sitting there deciding which major to target based on the thread. It was and is pure ego stroking

There were people in the mil who had or could expect multiple job offers, 2-4 was not uncommon, actually knew of one who had all the big six covered.

How in the world am I going to be informed on how much I COULD HAVE made if the industry wasn’t falling apart?

Exactly. No other profession out there brags about how much they make. The arrogance of pilots is just incredible.

I 100% agree. We cant just talk about the great years we must talk about all years. This gives a total career picture.

Mean while SWA sends out warns. AAL got furloughs. Delta got people on 30 hours. Two regionals outta business. United got something going idk what I forget. Less than 1 mill flying a day. Planes parked collecting dust. Wide bodies parked for good. FedEx pilots still cannot find enough places to put their cash.

Yah should be very informative to hear what people making this year, just out of curiosity how’s this going to help when 1/2 of us are working at Home Depot’s plumbing department? Maybe we can tell the paint department how we used to make 250k a year.

side note. Government probably watching this thread. Part of the reason why they didn’t give us money yet. They know a bunch well hung pilots are going to disclose they made 750k during the pandemic and use that as an argument that we don’t need more free cheddar.
