LOL. It’s some half built, destined to fail, on some beautiful and coveted swamp land.

Also don’t forget the wanna be Dave and Busters family style arcade centers.

That's a stadium? I thought it was the world's largest Roomba.

In November of 2011 American could have been purchased for $550 million.

In July of 2009 for $580 million.

And a year earlier for $560 million.

AA's market cap has plunged from $38.8 billion in January 2015 to $8 billion today and is going nowhere but down. America West, I mean American Airlines, will soon be in bankruptcy and available for a song. I don't see why another LCC can't have a shot at running it into the ground.

Companies aren’t really acquired based on their market cap. It’s more about their enterprise value, which, for AAL is about $42.5bn today. But yeah...I’m sure allegiant or spirit will come in and buy AAL any day now.

You obviously don’t understand enterprise value. When truly evaluating your company you are going to use enterprise value with /EBITDA (which compares it to its debt or /REVENUE which compares it to rev. Both are wildly negative numbers.
This is how people value companies. Will my revenues support my debt or can I liquidate it for a profit. In both cases no.

This may be the most ridiculous thing El Caribe has ever heard, but he hasn't heard a lot of things.

America West bought (merged with) US Airways in 2005 for $1.5B, comprising of $350M cash and commitments for the rest from many partners.

https://www.flightglobal.com/america.../60423.article

US Airways merged with American Airlines in 2013 in an $11B stock swap. US Airways management team survived.

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-a...91D02020130214

Following this model, Maury Gallagher (google him) could buy a smaller airline, then use it as a springboard to go after a bankrupt major, just like Doug Parker did. It has happened before.

I love how much energy you have for Allegiant and their quest for domination. Sanford Florida today, transatlantic tomorrow!

You laugh. We've come a long way from a BS casino junket charter outfit with a couple broken down DC9s, to the USAs most profitable airline. Maury is no dummy. He has bigly profited off the pandemic, and he's ready to go on the hunt. Can't say that for most other airlines.

How's that Spirit stock doing? I haven't seen you guys in the news in a few weeks but it's only a matter of time before you have another gate riot, or another uprising on the plane broadcast on youtube for all to enjoy.

LOL! Did they change out the kool-aid over there?

You do realize (and remember) within the last 3-4 months you were bashing Allegiant right? We even have exchanged PMs between the two of us discussing my time there (why I left) etc and you were supportive and completely understood why people leave. Wtf happened dude?

Im not saying peoples perceptions, thoughts, ideas and opinions can’t change. Just surprised to see it.
