Many hours spent listening to Radio Disney, the Truckin' Bozo, rural country stations, Roy Masters and Art Bell on the ADF.

Loved Art on Coast to Coast. Came on at midnight eastern. Now I listen to HF. There’s some end of the world religious zealot ranting from the FL swamp on 5780 ish MHz. Very entertaining.

Thanks for the tip! I need an HF listening guide to block out the stock tips and divorce stories, or break the total silence of Captain Introvert on a Transcon.

oh man that got me through many nights flying cancelled checks. Had a little card with all of the frequencies written on it.

All those hours listening to crackled MmmBop and Livin La Vida Loca because it was slightly better than silence.

This site allows you to plug in different parameters (e.g. time of day, language, etc.) to find something to listen to on HF. Down in the Caribbean I like 6000 which is propaganda spoken in English broadcast from Cuba, but at night it’s Spanish acoustic guitar.
