I didn't say they shouldn't have lounges, I said I don't want them in mine. They may work a longer day, but they sure have a lot of energy none-the-less and sometimes I want to chill. Fatigue affects my cog performance and I need that more than the FA's do.

Yeah dude, I do. I’m up working on stuff and flying out soon, I can’t sit in the dark. There’s a nice sleep room right over there, with nobody in it.

He says he doesn’t like sleep rooms, and can we please make it dark in here.

No. No we can’t. Get a hotel room if you can’t deal with a sleep room.

He said he only has 8 hours so it’s “not worth” a hotel. WTF.

We went round and round. It was the most bizarre exchange I’ve ever had.
Exactly. Entitlement runs through every part of our society.

From random PA announcements to lots of talking and movement and activity and "see and be seen (and heard!)" energy. Not relaxing at all. The pilot lounges on the other hand always seem chill, relaxed and like professional workspaces.
I've seen FAs get nervous and uncomfortable when the room or hotel van is quiet for too long. As (mostly) extroverts, they get their energy from talking/social engagement.
All the more reason for separate crew rooms.
