Mandatory mask requirements are a reminder that we do not live in a free country anymore. This isn't hard to see that the masks and flight attendant assaults are related.

Do you seriously not see the difference between an interpersonal conflict and a mechanic completing a skilled labor task? Very poor analogy. Having said that, my default position is to give my flight attendants support until or unless they display some obvious reason not to. Going bezerk over a mask issue would fall into that category….One warning, then hand out the card. If no compliance I have them removed if still on the ground, or have a CS supervisor meet the jet when we land. Under no circumstances do I want any of my crew getting into a ****ing contest that ends up on YouTube. Simple.

Half the people making the decisions and rules in America are corrupt. The other half are stupid. Everyone else seems destined to have their quality of life negatively affected by this combination of corrupt and stupid...and here we are.
