Default 3 year mandatory

As I said earlier....why not a mandatory 3 yr prison sentence in club Fed for anyone who physically assaults any crew?? I'm not talking verbal back-talk...strictly physical battery.

Maybe it’s time for FAs to start carrying pepper spray during the flight. If anyone gets out of line, they’ll remove it from the holster at point it at the disruptive pax. Sounds like a good idea, right?

I agree, the craziest thing is I read an article recently that said most of the these physical altercations mot just involving FAs the people aren’t even getting charged with a crime! What?? I mean you would think on the street it would be assault and besides a clean record and a good lawyer not much time if any but on an airplane it should be way worse!

No, it’s sounds like an absolutely awful idea. A can of pepper spray that can get loose in the cabin because the FA can’t be assured of retaining it…..DUMB IDEA.

Do you have the numbers to back that claim up? How many FA training classes have you attended? Are you serious with the "uneducated" comment and "tell them they're there primarily for safety" comment? If so, i suggest you get a clue from someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Jesus!
My opinion is founded in over a decades worth of working with FA’s on domestic and long haul pax flights. I’ve been two leg commuting the majority of my career. I have several good friends who are flight attendants. We share training centers, we know your footprint, we have your manuals. We resolve the conflicts you cannot or call upon someone who can. I don’t really feel the need to go digging for statistics. However, if you’d like to share som data that points towards FA’s being a highly educated demographic subset I’d welcome that.

I think he was joking, but ain't that every FAs fantasy?! That and a taser! I know a few pilots and fellow FAs I'd like to use that on! Happy Sunday!

You give me your statistics first. I'm too busy right now with my uneducated coworkers doing humanitarian flights.

I know a few pilots have blasted holes in the cockpits and left their pea shooters behind in hotel rooms.
Not only FA’s who can mishandle a weapon.

Public tar and feathering before 3 years in the booty house should calm some of these mutants down.

I get it. I was doing that all year in 2020. Bagram, Kabul, Kandahar, Africa, etc... Sometimes I wouldn’t see my newborn son for over a month at a time. Yet, I felt honored to be part of it.

Let us know when you have time to show us your statistics.

Of course I’m not joking. Gotta to take the FAs safety super seriously. Pepper spray it is for any disruptive pax. They got a right to defend themselves! The only issue would be the spray getting into the ventilation system.
