Anyone see the latest Bill Moyers journal on PBS TV? The first part was about how airline CEOs from bankrupt airlines have made out very well. It's worth watching if you get the chance.

Warning - if you are from one of those airlines, NWA, USAir, DAL or UAL, don't take a physical immediately after as your blood pressure will certainly be elevated.

Who would have thought the opportunities in this Land of Opportunities are no longer. Now a days big business means government in the pockets of key executives. Protect the golden parachutes and screw the employees who made their companies what they were. Go back 20 years ago with Pan Am (Acker) and TWA (Ichon) when the downward spirals started. Unfortunately flying overseas is far better than flying for any US carrier. QOL, pay and benefits.

Isn't is shame... that not all who saw the hand writing on the wall took early retirement and got out while the getting was good with their pensions.
