And of course since immunizations were originally parceled out to those most at risk, it is those most at risk who have seen their neutralizing antibodies wane the most, so even among the vaccinated it is the highest risk cohort getting hit disproportionately in this wave.

Yes but as stated in your first paragraph the deaths are not rising.
I don’t see businesses being closed during bad cold and flu outbreaks. Let’s agree that COVID is indeed worse that cold and flu but also agree that reactions to it should be based upon deaths or this cycle will never end.

I could careless about cases. I was a case in aug and my wife is a case now. Everyone is eventually going to get it. If not then they are lucky. All I care about are deaths and if they are on the rise or decline. That should be the factor on what people should do.
