Yes, the problem is the rules (that 100% of these people agree to follow when buying a ticket), not the people breaking them. Let's get rid of laws, that way people can't break laws anymore!

Not regarding masks but in my state several large cities have announced they won’t be enforcing traffic laws because certain groups can’t seem to follow them. Expired tabs and inoperative lights for instance will not get you pulled over so there is a precedence set for laws/mandates etc that prove too onerous and troublesome.

The problem is the rule is ridiculous at this point. I don’t think people should be deliberately breaking the rule and causing a scene that’s for sure. However some of the FAs are on an out of control power trip.
