I AM YOUR CAPTAIN!! Aka stalker pilot?

Gotta be more to this story. Anyone know the back story? Strange to say the least, but big AA must have been ****ed enough to ban the passenger. But one would think if his offense was a significant enough to be banned, it would be police confronting him and not the captain. Says American Eagle in the article, but doesn’t look like AA badge, Skywest or Republic maybe?

That’s a Republic badge, captain was being a Boy Scout. I’m sure there’s plenty more to the story if AA decided to ban the guy after the fact.

Not an AA pilot. I believe this has already been proven to be a social media hoax and they two were in on it together, and that is why he was banned. One guy pretending to be a pilot.

Maybe the pilot wants to retire early. So stupid to follow around a passenger.

How was he pretending to be a pilot with a crew badge?

Photoshop and a $50 inkjet printer?

This behavior is so bizarre as to be almost unbelievable.

Plus the alleged pilot looks about 70 years old, although some of us wear differently than others. Maybe the guy turned 65 the next day and just didn't give a you-know-what.

Could be 64.9, DGAF, pax mouthed off and was a D. Ok then I’ll follow you to whichever gate and tell the captain all about how fun you are.

still weird but that’s the only scenario I can think of

What it sounds like is the captain had a personal relationship with the flight attendant and that is why he was backing her up so aggressively.

In any case, stay in your seat and let the people paid to interact with passengers do it. All any of this behavior does is make us all look bad.
