I’m hearing a lot of mental gymnastics from others trying to argue that your seniority movement will be slower at a Legacy versus the LCC/ULCCs.
You’re probably better off asking friends and family who you can trust over an anonymous group forum if you’re looking for life changing advice. The bias is strong here, and this coming from someone that decided to stay at a LCC.

And in uncertain times, there is something to be said for being in the upper half rather than the lower half of a seniority list. That’s something to consider too. Judging by the recent Congressional interrogations, it might be hard to sell another PSP.

Like having babies, there is no good time but sometimes you have to take the long-term view and just do it.
Or accept that you may be leaving something on the table in the interest of risk aversion. Your call.

Personally, I wouldn't leave ULCC captain for a legacy position, especially if you live in domicile. Yes, you can upgrade quickly at a legacy as well these days, but the big question on my mind would be where do I fall in on the overall seniority list? If the music stops, then what?
If you're around 50-60% or senior at ULCC and looking to leave, I'd call you a degenerate gambler.
