End of 2021 salary survey
2021 is coming to a close. The hiring is back on and firing on all cylinders. Should you leave ULCC for a legacy? Legacy for FedEx? SWA for UAL in chase of an upgrade? How accurate are the pay scales on APC and the sliding ruler? What role do work rules play into the equation? Many questions can be answered on this thread.
The intent of this thread is to help people make informed decisions especially of this magnitude. I know some people frown on sharing this info, and I'd like to ask them if they don't want to contribute to refrain from derailing this thread. As such, I've asked the mods to keep the thread clear of unhelpful posts.
Here is the suggested format:

I'll start.
SWA
6th year FO
$292.9k gross pay (wages + taxable per diem + excess B-plan as cash)
$38.5k NEC/B-plan (maxed out)
$7.5k non-taxable per diem
835 hours of block
177 days worked this year
Live in domicile, so I hustle a bit.

Total wages plus 16% 401K: 235K
Per diem: no idea, I am looking at my paystub and it might be @7K
@340 block hours.
Days worked: no idea but I am generally lazy.
I am a commuter.
Was on 55hr LOA leave for a couple of month and didn't really start working till April. I wont make 235K this year because AA paid me a lot to get my 2 COVID shots (@8K each shot) plus I had 10 days off for COVID 2x (probably 5K each removal).
A realistic number is 200K total (wages plus 16% 401K).

Total wages plus 16% 401K: 235K

Thank you RJS and everyone for participating. I know when I was making the choice to repatriate and join a 121 these types of threads were invaluable. I hope this helps others like it did me…

Live in domicile with about an hour drive
Rumor has it 3-4% of profit share coming but I would account for it next year.

At work 54 days, plus another 141 days unused reserve
6 hotel rooms for the year
Above doesn't include recurrent training days
Live in base but never pick up, drop 1 reserve day per month and cover it with PTO
