Ukraine help
 

For wider dissemination:

A bunch of us Brown Tails have started a grass roots campaign to help refugee children fleeing the war in Ukraine. The mission is to supply them with a backpack full of necessary items (blanket, gloves, wet wipes, clean socks, underwear, stuffed animal, etc).

Please consider supporting this effort, or partnering at your carrier and starting your own. One guy I spoke with said we hoped to provide 1,500 backpacks. Imagine if everyone operating to Europe brought bags.

I fly domestic and haven’t been there, but I guess women and children by the thousands are flooding the train stations as they look for somewhere to go. I saw pictures our guys are posting from CGN and it’s heart breaking.

Operation BackPack4Kids….. CLICK HERE is really taking off! They have formed a Board of Trustees, and are now a registered Non-Profit corporation in Kentucky, seeking IRS 501c3 status. If you donate, your contribution is tax deductible! I know that UPS and FedEx pilots are running the operation, but I believe they are looking for other airlines to join the cause. What an awesome way to show some solidarity these days.

The stories on Twitter and Instagram are amazing! I don’t know how they did it, but they got backpacks inside the Ukraine!
