Mascott is on the literal doorstep of the Green Swamp, probably the largest swamp in all of central FL.

Clermont is nice so long as you live close to either the Oakland turnpike exit or the newer one by Montverde. I'd hate to have to drive all the way down hwy 50 from the west end of Clermont or Mascott.

OP: If I was not settled where I am, I'd be looking somewhere near the spacecoast brightline station, soon that high speed train is going straight into a MCO terminal station.

The space coast is on Putin's primary thermonuclear target list. That's why it's cheap.

Very difficult. There are a TON of guys doing that. But if you get PS then who cares? Using non-rev privileges on vacation? Yeah, good luck with that.

You are severely incorrect about this. Orange County and Orlando are very liberal, as well as Osceola County. Brevard and Lake and Volusia Counties are very conservative, and Seminole County is purple. Seminole is turning blue the next few years and Lake might be as well.

This is very true.

Yes. Living in DAB (Spruce Creek Fly-In) area is easy, Titusville, Palm Bay, Viera, Melbourne, Merritt Island, Geneva, etc are all conservative places. If government schools are important to you then Seminole County is where you want to be. SC is lots of educated and upper middle class people in Oviedo (lefty) and Lake Mary Heathrow (right leaning).

Are there any particular areas that would have decent studio apartments near the airport? What is the rent range for studios/one bedroom apartments? Is it better to buy a condo? I don’t want to do a crash pad.

Hey sonic, thanks for chiming in but I really don't care what you think... about anything. Feel free to scroll by my posts.

Did you actually get hired at Delta or are you just posing as usual?

Along with every major city, airport and military base. When Putin pushes the button, you may as well live at ground zero and get it over with quickly. Enjoy where you live in the meantime!

Well when you are factually incorrect, you're going to get corrected. Deal with it cupcake.

So I take it you're not at Delta? Good, I can keep buying their tickets, having faith in their hiring practices.

20 years ago, I would never even remotely consider the political bent of an area. Now, it's common.

This balkanization of the United States will be our downfall. And I'm afraid it's by design.

Yep, not to get political, but the fight is urban vs non-urban. It's no longer just north vs south or west coast and east coast vs everyone else.
