Contacting Current Employer?
 

Can anyone give me some guidance here on what you think? Airline Apps asks this question, "Can we contact your current employer"?

I'm just not sure what would be the best response. Personally, I don't care if they contact my current employer, but is there something I'm overlooking here? Application going into several of the majors currently hiring.

If you don't care, answer Yes. Some employers will let you go on the spot if you are looking elsewhere. That question lets you protect yourself and avoid any surprises. I always answer no unless I have been openly discussing the job change with my manager. You don't want any surprises with your job.
