Why is the plug in for taptalk not running?

Apparently, you need to update the plug in.

Android OS, Galaxy S9 here
also doesn't work on LG or Chromebook
Tapatalk isn't run through a browser, it's an app that requires some software on the forum side to support it and it has worked for years.
