Boots for work.

Looking for a good pair of boots that are TSA friendly.

been looking at these; Heritage roper western boot from Ariat or the Justin roper boots from Justin boots.

which ones do you all prefer for those that wear boots?

Thursday Boot. The Major. In black (obviously). Just got em a couple months ago. I’ve been through a bunch of different types of footwear over the course of my career trying to find the best pilot shoe and I can’t see myself switching to anything else.

I have this kind of Ariat. They are very good. I also had a pair of Johnston and Murphy boots (Chelsea style I think) that were good as well.

Definetly nice to have a decent tread pattern on them for the winter time.

Love those boots, just wish they'd make it in a "smoother" finish.

I use the Thursday black Chelsea boot and it's fantastic. Slip on, comfortable, durable and it's TSA
friendly.

Probably the perfect airline shoe for ease of use. Never gonna use laced shoes ever again at this job.

I use boots from Shoes for Crews. Very wearable and the soles are fantastic on slippery or icey ramps.

I’ve gone with Blundstone dress Chelsea boots for years. Great boots for all weather conditions that polish up nicely. I’ve been tempted to give the R.M Williams Comfort Craftsman Chelsea a go but can’t bring myself to pull the trigger yet…

problem for pilots with Thursday Boot Co is they use steel shanks… so plan on taking them off every time.
