UAL can now ban pax who use audio without headphones.

I like it, you have to be some kind of serious narcissist to think that's OK in any public space. And how hard is it to just use headphones of some sort

Airport authorities ought to enact the same policies for the terminal.

Even better.

This will somehow be considered "racist," and they'll roll the rule back. I think they tried something similar on Carnival cruises.

I certainly hope the rule holds firm. Nothing like having someone play on Youtube at full volume in the middle seat.

Can we add Skyhop vans and crew/employee buses to this?

Unfortunately this could very likely be seen as that. However when we can no longer expect common courtesy, we do then have to legislate that. Remember this kind man ended up being arrested because he politely asked a fellow employee to turn it down or use headphones. She either ignored him or challenged him to make him and welll…

I’ve worked with this man. He is not what he is being alleged to be. That being said…I would not have said anything.

Any touch can be considered "assault". So It's a good idea never to touch anyone, even tap them. I don't help the old F/as out of the van anymore, they call fall flat on their fat asses for all I care.

Safety breach. Interference of cabin crewmember duties/commands. Call security, file charges, sue the prick. FA’s will be wearing body cams before too long.

All the reason to st-fu when cops ask you questions. Had he not admitted to anything, it would have been a he said she said situation with nothing that could be done.

That being said I feel like the best play here is to turn on the most annoying song you can and stand next to the person with it on speaker.
