How can anyone attacking another major US airline actually be serious? Almost everyone had multiple resumes out and took the first handshake to come along. We all know people at each major - and each has people with the exact same training and experience.

I have ridden jumpseat on them all as a commuter and have been equally impressed and unimpressed by all. Let it go...........

This coming from a LOSER who just lost his entire retirement (save the pennies on the dollar you'll get from the PBGC).
And oh by the way, it was back in '98 that we got the B fund.

Explained but followed by an insult. Nice list you produced. Why not take a recent time frame since Fed Ex was not in business for many of those years you decided to produce. If the thought is that aviation gets safer the longer we do it then perhaps in 75 years maybe Fed Ex will ease the hull loss rate.

I agree that we have been very fortunate at UAL to have a safety streak that could be snapped in an instant. However, the goobers that like to bash UAL as being somewhat inferior airmen really gets old. You guys have no data to back it up but you think you have all the answers. Why don't you educate yourselves or is too difficult to read in the dark?

Current.... Well that is correct. It is the current pay rate. Hopefully it will go up. Are you confident you will never see a downturn in your career? If so good for you, but keep in mind things in this industry change on a regular basis. Good on you for thinking you are immune.
