SWA September 5th and 19th Classes
 

Are they confirmed yet?

Good question. On another thread it was rumored (via SamFoxPilot) that the last class in Sept is getting filled with pool dates around 10 May.

Can anyone back this up?

Those dates are what I heard from PD last week. Same with pool dates. I don't know how firm dates are, but I would assume they are pretty good to start lining up pool dates. Don't think any calls had gone out yet, though. They were still finishing up filling holes w/Aug classes.

Just got the call for the Sep 5 class, so I can certainly confirm that one. I saw on another board that someone was also called for the Sep 19 class. So, yes, those two classes are a "GO".

Norm, just for reference, what was your pool date?

I interviewed on Jan 8 with the type. Military guy, not available until Sep. Looks like May pool dates are getting in in Sep classes.

Just heard that SWA is adding an Oct 3 class as well. Things are looking up for you, SAM.

Hope this gives everyone a better feel for where they stand.

Gentlemen, good to hear that there will be classes besides Sept 5th and the 19th. I am on the 6/10 pool... so if there is anymore additional information, please share.

Ms. Jackson is my HR lady at SWA, the latest she told me from last week was. Classes will be held in Aug. and Sept. No classes in Oct. or Nov. and maybe Dec. From the data she told me the earliest for my class will be next year, ouch!!!

But since there are more changes this week... I am hoping for a class this year, keeping my fingers cross.
