Jumpseating on Delta or AirTran

I'm trying to get from PIT to ATL on tuesday, they're the only two that do that direct. Somebody mentioned to me that they might require you to list for the jumpseat. Anybody know if I have to do something before I show up there, or can I just drop in at the gate? I'm a Colgan employee....
