Guys...I would worry about the "Interview" too much.
From what I hear they want a 90% hire rate during the interviews, at least 9 out of 10 will be hired compared to the 90's when 1 out of 10 made it.
The best advice is the standard stuff from all the usual places, but I would make sure you are relaxed and not nervous in the interview, that seemed to be the killer back in the 90's.
Good Luck to all......!

Don't be nervous in the most important interview of you life. Great, that should be easy. All the old interview reports included a tech section (mental math, A/C questions etc). It would be nice to know if this was still in the plan. Guess I have to prep for that unless I hear otherwise.
BTW-for those looking at profiles: 10k tt, 6k PIC CRJ most of it for ACA/Indy

I was called Friday (10th) for the interview on Wednesday the 15th. I'm on a trip till Monday...I'm only going to look over the basic Jepps info and some of those random technical questions in some interview book I have from AirInc 7-8 years ago. The rest I'm just going to wing it. My guess is that the interview process is not going to be the brow beating it was in the late 90s.
Time will tell.

Got the interview email today. Won't be able to call until Monday. In the same boat as you guys- not gouged up and really not up on the tech items. Welcome to the fire hose again, son!
Have any of you been asked what your availability date is? I haven't and looked through the app to make sure I didn't mark something wrong. With the info out there now, it seems they would want me this year. I'm not available until next year though.
Profile. 4000TT, all turbine and military, 2500 PIC (2000IP), GV type

Interview
Regardless of the current circumstances, I do have a bit of advice-after several major interviews. DO SPEND A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF TIME STUDYING THE SITUATIONAL QUESTIONS!!!!!!! That is where your judgement, training, and personality will be showcased. Anybody can spew holding entry, aircraft spacing etc. When you get stumped with something- say "I don't know" and then attempt to spin it to something you do know. Go heavy on Captains Authority, SOP and SAFETY above all else. Also, they are interested in your history/career decisions, so be able to highlight the positives of upgrades, equipment, and lessons learned.
Good luck!!!

I second REAL pilots thoughts exactly. The interview preps are great and they do give you a good idea of what to expect. If you've never done a prep I would at least try it once. You just don't want to come off too canned. There's nothing wrong with being prepaired, but you can over do it.
