AirTran, pilots union in tentative labor deal

CHICAGO, Aug 23 (Reuters) - AirTran Holdings (AAI.N: Quote, Profile, Research), parent of AirTran Airways, has reached a tentative labor deal with its pilots' union, the National Pilots Association (NPA) said on Thursday.

The union said the deal supersedes the company's last offer that was put to the pilots for ratification previously. The deal requires membership approval.
