UAL hiring process

UAL hiring process
Please, let's not let this thread deteriorate into the usual UAL pro/con fight.
Here is info that has been spread on other threads.
Hiring 100 this year. Have 1000 qualified applicants.
Process so far:
1. Submit app.
2. Get email saying you've moved on to the next step.
3. Get 15 minute, 120ish question Psych test from Hogan associates.
4. Get email saying call us to setup a phone screen.
5. Do phone screen of flight times with 1 question "what three qualities makes a good pilot."
6. Get email stating go to Lasergrade to to a proctored assessment. (Rumor is it is more psych tests).
Q: Is the Lasergrade proctored assessment really just a psych test? Is there anyone out there that has taken the test and can pass along any gouge?
Q: I assume since UAL is paying for the test that it's a really good sign thay they are interested in you. If you pass are you going to get an interview?
Q: How many people have been invited to take the lasergrade test?
Q: How many people are going to get interviews?
Q: When will the interviews start?
Any other good info out there?

I'm doing the Lasergrade thing tomorrow. I haven't seen anyone post that they've been called for an interview. The Recruiter that did my phone interview (Dana) said the interviews will probably start next Friday (Aug 17th) in Chicago for classes in October. (No Frasca sim, BTW). She said 100 by year end and probably around 300 next year.
I read in another forum, though, that the interview Captains have not even been selected yet.
Also word of mouth that new hires would be going to 737 in ORD and DCA.

Please update with some info when you are done! Doing the phone interview Fri. Did you give them the "per UAL standards" numbers (ie subtract 250 for prior to commercial) or just straight what is in your book? Shouldn't be a bid deal, but I know how they are about numbers and accuracy.
Thanks and good luck!

FWIW I have approx 3500 TT, 2800 unadjusted PIC, all Multi-Eng. Not an intern or family member of UAL.

Rumor of only 737s is not true. Right now guys/gals returning from furlough are going A-320, 737-300, or 757/767... crap shoot. They used to pick pilot seniority in the clases by last four numbers of SSAN... but no idea what this time around. I don't think UAL has a plan on what jets to fill new hires yet... but alot of the returning furloughees who got 737s and A320s with 3 year freezes are not happy... so policy might change. My recommendation is take the 737 or 320... good experience for a new hire... lots of flying.
