You have to sign the letter as mentioned above. If you've been called for an interview they basically tell you exactly what to expect over the phone. Its followed closely, so relax.

Yes. There is absolutely nothing that the NWA pilots can do except complain irregardless of what NewKnow claims. Pilots are quitting in the MIDDLE of trips. And, early retirement requests have soared. Is that a good thing? You decide. But, I am tellling you and, FURLOUGHMAN is telling you, go elsewhere.

Irregardless is not a word....anyway as a 20 year NWA pilot I would say that for me, my career is over. I will never make what I did in 1996, my retirement is frozen and my 1997 Ford taurus needs replacing. However, as a new hire you will find your future as bright if not brighter at NWA as any other legacy. Granted if you can get on with UPS/FEDX/SWA do so, otherwise, welcome aboard the new paradigm in airline pay.........

You make a good point Reddog25. The truth of the matter is that the old adage here is correct; "This too shall pass." Pilots repeatedly claim that the sky is falling and NWA certainly does not look too attractive at the moment. The pilots at NWA have resilience and conditions here will get better over time. For the pilots who have been at NWA since before 2000, it certainly seems as though the world is coming to an end. Currently morale is very low and people are fed up, that can serve as a real downer for a new-hire pilot.

There will be a management change sometime within the next couple of years and when that happens there is a chance conditions on the property will improve. Any new-hire at NWA will saddled with the responsibility of helping that airline get back on its feet, it wont be easy, but it is doable.
