Spirit Interview Questions

Ok, got the call for an interview, and its in three days!!!!
I need some help, anyone have any gouge I would REALLY appreciate it.

Im a FAR 135 guy so any help with the 121 part of the written test would be greatly appreciated. I havent found too much info on airline interviews or flyforfood, anyone know of another helpful site?

Thanks in advance!!

Well did you get it?

They have back ground requests for guys still in the sim... so I am thinking that unless you really step on your crank at the interview, it is yours.

The background check at Spirit seems/seemed a little over the top. It took everyone in my class at least a month (some longer) to get clearance to be issued an ID. I think there is one guy at the top of the flt ops food chain who likes to micro manage.....

I started to think we might be alternate pilots for Air Force 1.....

Don't worry about it scott26... If you got the invite, you got the job:)

Hopefully you live in S.E. FL other wise it will suck going to work..... I know:mad:

Just finished mine today. Have a great time and don't worry too much about your experience or trying to study 121 regs. Seems like a first class company.

...and saw what NK was about from the first week of indoc, including first hand what JC and company are all about. Not a place for me so I have moved on. Best of luck to NK'ers in the future.

Sucks that it had to go down like that. Hopefully you found another place that works better? I will admit that there is alot of tension in the air these days. Best of luck at the next place. Seriously, im not trying to be a prick. :)

No worries...I didn't take it that way. ;)

I did find another flying job that keeps me based in the city that I live in, so it is working better...for now.

CptScott26,

Hey congrats on the job ;)

I got the interview coming up next month myself. What should I review for the written test? ATP book and anything else that should be looked at before hand?

From what i undertsand, the test may change between classes, but all the questions on mine came from the ATP book.

As for the interview, bring your personality.

Chatted with the Chief Pilot a day ago. 150 hires minimum for next year, not including the remainder of this year.

Dont get too worried about the written, its not too bad if you do a little studying from the ATP and AIM. I have heard they dont put too much weight on the score. Just be yourself. They are looking for good people with great personalities that fit in well at the company....very stress free interview.

Good luck!! Let us know how it turns out. PM me if you need anything.

Holy zombie thread!

otter1 08-22-2013 03:51 PM

Here's a few:

Ever failed a checkride?

Tell me a time when:
You exhibited great customer service.
You disagreed with a captain.

What is your biggest weakness?
Have you ever violated a FAR?
What was your latest big purchase?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how do you rate yourself as a pilot?

That's all I can think of right now. Good Luck.
