Default 2nd Chance with SWA

I had an interview with SWA last year and I am wondering what others have experienced in waiting for a second chance.

How long did it take to get a second interview? Did you do anything significant to help get a second chance, i.e. transition to larger aircraft, become an instructor, or get a supervisor job?

Thanks for any info....

I have a buddy that got hired at SWA on his third attempt. The difference for him was getting interview coaching. if SWA turns you down, it's not because of yoyur lack of experience or time. You're qualified if they call you in. It's your personality usually that needs some shine

Oh, Now he's a captain based in BWI. Moral of this story? Don't give up!

I am really interested in how long it takes to get that second call for an interview. I have done the prep and reviewed my mistakes in the last interview.

SWA says it is one year to apply again. It has been more than a year and a half now.

Waiting impatiently........

a buddy of mine got hired at SWA not too long ago. He also failed the interview the first/second time. He found it ironic that they finally hired him the third time, after he hired a coach on how to charm swa. Wow!! Thats all he said before he started class. Its funny how much a company will buy off on bulll **** if you pay enough for your interview prep. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

You're 100% correct, LAfrequentflyer.

I did interview prep with Cheryl Cage before my UPS interview... it's some of the best money I ever spent.

Yep, interview prep is good. I strongly recommend it.

Does anyone know how long it took to get the second interview after the one year mandatory wait?

Uh, if you mean me, I didn't, and that's why I strongly recommend it.
