Default MTSU Grads...

Hey everybody, just wanted to see if there were any MTSU alums out there. I'm going there now, and I just wanted to get a good idea of what my school's aerospace alumnis are doing. What kind of times did you have when you applied to where you are now? What kind of work schedule have you experienced? Thank you.

Default Blue Raiders!

MTSU home of the Blue Raiders! I didn't go there, but I knew a couple guys in the Air Force from there. They were very proud of thier program. One flies for Delta and the other is a NAV.

Looks like a good school. Good Luck! I did my flight training in the Army and got my degree from ERAU. I know there are a few good schools (UND, ERAU, Ohio State, etc.) out there, but I had not heard of MTSU until now.

MTSU is a great school! The instructors are all top-notched and I feel that I got a good education from that school. Another thing to compare is the cost of the degree, much cheaper than other schools. I am now flying for Mountain Air Cargo, Capt on a F-27 Fokker.

Astropilot, if you don't mind me asking, what do they pay you to be a left seater in the F-27? Also, when did you graduate, how soon after did you get hired, etc? You can email me at [email protected]. I would really appreciate any input you have. Thanks!

Pay scale is all on this websites airline profile, I graduated in 94, but at that time no jobs so I did other things taught high school, work at UPS Airline in maint. Been at the Mountain since May 2001. F-27 FO flying in NA SA and Carb. then into the c-208b for a year then finally to the left seat. and I was considered a fastmover up the ladder. Feel free to email me at [email protected]

MTSU is a great place to get your flying done, so long as you do it the right way. I'm a junior here, feel free to drop me an E-mail. [email protected]
